What we offer
Structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6a, fiber)
We install copper and fiber cabling that meets or exceeds industry standards. From Cat6/6a for today’s bandwidth to fiber for backbone and long runs, we build a foundation that supports current and future needs.
Cable pathway design and installation
Proper pathways protect cables and simplify moves, adds, and changes. We design and install cable tray, conduit, and raceway systems so your infrastructure stays organized and accessible.
Testing, certification, and documentation
Every run is tested and certified, and we provide documentation you can use for compliance and troubleshooting. You get as-built records and test results so you know exactly what’s in the wall.
Data center and IDF/MDF buildouts
We build and upgrade data centers, IDFs, and MDFs with structured cabling, cable management, and labeling. Our work supports clean, maintainable spaces that scale with your operations.
Cable management and labeling
Clear labeling and tidy cable management reduce downtime and make changes easier. We implement consistent schemes so your team can quickly identify and trace circuits.
FAQ
What cable categories do you install?
We install Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling for horizontal runs, backbone, and data center interconnects. Category selection depends on distance, bandwidth requirements, and future-proofing goals.
Do you certify every cable run after installation?
Yes. Every copper and fiber run is tested and certified to industry standards. You receive test reports for each link so you have proof of performance for warranty and compliance purposes.
Can you run cabling in occupied buildings without disrupting operations?
We schedule work around your business hours, use containment and pathway systems to minimize dust and disruption, and coordinate with facilities for after-hours or phased installation when needed.
Do you design cable pathways or only install them?
We design and install. Pathway design covers cable tray, conduit, raceway, and penetration planning so cables are protected, accessible, and compliant with fire and building codes.
Can you retrofit pathways into existing buildings?
Yes. We assess existing infrastructure and design retrofit solutions—surface-mounted tray, J-hooks, or conduit—that meet code without requiring full demolition.
How do you handle cable routing between floors or buildings?
We coordinate riser and inter-building pathways with proper fire-stopping, grounding, and separation from power circuits. Fiber is typically used for long runs and building-to-building links.
What testing standards do you follow?
Copper runs are tested to TIA/EIA standards using certified field testers. Fiber links receive OTDR and loss testing. Results are documented per run with pass/fail status.
What documentation do we receive after testing?
You receive a test report for every run, as-built floor plans showing cable routes and outlet locations, and a labeling scheme reference. Documentation supports audits, MAC work, and troubleshooting.
Can you re-test existing cabling to verify it still meets spec?
Yes. We perform re-certification on existing infrastructure to identify degraded links, document current performance, and support decisions about reuse versus replacement during upgrades.
Do you build out new IDFs and MDFs from scratch?
Yes. We design and build intermediate and main distribution frames including racks, cable management, patch panels, grounding, and power coordination with your facilities team.
Can you upgrade an existing data center cabling plant?
We handle partial and full upgrades—adding capacity, replacing outdated category cable, and reorganizing patch fields—while maintaining service to active equipment where possible.
Do you coordinate with network and server teams during buildouts?
We work closely with IT and facilities to align rack layouts, port counts, and cable lengths with switch placement and server configurations before installation begins.
What labeling standard do you use?
We implement consistent, industry-standard labeling—typically TIA-606—with unique identifiers on both ends of every cable, patch panels, and outlets so circuits are traceable in minutes.
Can you clean up and re-label an existing messy cable plant?
Yes. Cable remediation is a common engagement. We remove abandoned cable, reorganize patch fields, install proper cable management, and apply a new labeling scheme.
How does good labeling reduce downtime?
Clear labels let technicians identify circuits instantly during moves, adds, changes, and outages—reducing mean time to repair and preventing accidental disconnections.
